Homeless Shelter
Winter Relief Homeless Shelter. EUMC joins a list of county churches each winter to provide a week long shelter for the homeless. These men in need are transported and housed by us, given wholesome, home cooked meals and a social and spiritual connection during the coldest nights of the year. Congregation members provide enormous time and resources in this annual ministry.
The next shelter at Eastport UMC is Thanksgiving week 2012. Many people volunteer from the community – we hope you will too!
