Hey Grown-ups!

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, a day we typically process through the church with palm branches singing "Hosanna in the Highest! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!"

Since we are unable to gather and do such a marvelous thing, I would love for you to send in short video clips or photos of you and your kiddos waving palm branches, or any kind of branch! Shout "Hosanna!" if you like, and I'll include it in the video for Sunday morning. Please be sure to have it to me by Friday (our production day). You can email it or text it to me.

We've also been creating paper flowers to decorate our house, and it came to me that this might be a project we can all participate in. Well, not decorating my house, but decorating the church when we return. Even though we're not sure when that will be.

To make the flowers, we colored on white tissue paper with marker and crayon, cut out flowers, and then stuck a pipe-cleaner through the center of the flower. There are probably 1,001 ways to make paper flowers, and you can do it any one of those ways, but I would love for our kids (and maybe the whole church?) to join in on this project. I'm posting a video about it on the church blog (eastportumc.org/blog) today. Feel free to send me pics of what you're working on. Or, maybe you have another project we can do together?

Let me know how you're doing, I'd be happy to hear from you.
