Where Community Gathers...

Our community flourishes because people invest in our church and in our neighborhood.

New to the neighborhood? Want to intentionally invest in your community? Here are a few places we love and recommend:
The Best Little Free Library

Located next to the playground at Eastport United Methodist and installed in the Summer of 2020, our hope is that you will drop by and pick out a book to read for as long as you need to, bring it back or pass it along. We’ll be offering a number of children’s and adults books in English and in Spanish, so all our neighbors can enjoy the benefits of this library.

Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay

We deeply believe that God calls us to care for the Earth, what better way to support one of the strongest advocates for our local watershed. Don't be afraid to get your boots muddy with this group that takes direct action to educate and refresh our call to care for creation.

Annapolis Maritime Museum

Immerse yourself in the maritime history of the Chesapeake bay. We love this local waterman's museum for their Summer Concerts that uplift and Winter lecture series that educate.

EUMC Community Food Pantry

On the third Saturday of each month we gather to celebrate the abundance of our community. Food is made available to all thanks to our partnership with the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, Storm Bros. Ice Cream, Grow Annapolis, and so many other partners. You can read more about the food pantry here.

Bananas in Bag
Grow Annapolis

This community gardening initiative grows more than plants, it plots ways our community can flourish by partnering with the community, government, schools, and local businesses. Each month they bring a fresh truckload of produce and their smiling faces to our community food pantry and we are so very grateful for them!

Neat Streets

These folks are takin' it to the streets and we love what we see. Each week from late Spring to Fall they gather for about an hour to spruce, sweep, and shovel all in he effort to beautify Eastport. It is amazing what they accomplish in an hour, not to mention the community building that they foster. Grab your favorite pair of gloves and join in the fun.

Quiet Waters Park

Incredible playgrounds, Summer Concert Series, scenic views of the South River, lengthy trails, a dog park and a dog beach -- what more could you ask for? This is our favorite place to play and enjoy the fresh air.
