Eastport United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time custodian (12–15 hours per week) to help care for our church building and grounds.

 

Schedule:

• One required workday: Saturday afternoon

• Second workday: Tuesday or Wednesday (flexible)

 

Responsibilities include:

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

• Emptying trash and recycling (interior and exterior)

• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, water fountains, and mirrors

• Refilling paper towels, soap, and toilet paper

• Cleaning windows and furniture

• General upkeep of facilities and grounds

 

Requirements:

• Physically able to perform duties, including lifting up to 40 lbs and using stairs

• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

• Must be able to pass a background check

 

Compensation:

• $16–$20 per hour, depending on experience

• 12–15 hours per week
