Eastport United Methodist (Annapolis, MD) will host a training on Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events. The CRASE presentation by the Annapolis Office of Emergency Management and the Annapolis Police Department is designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy and provides guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events as well as civilian response options. It will not be specific to the EUMC facility, so all are welcome to attend.
