Holy Week and Easter News

Beloved of Eastport United Methodist,

In these days that lead up to Easter, the focal point of the Christian year, there are a number of ways for you to worship from home. In addition to daily devotional materials, there will be worship materials for Maundy Thursday (available now), Good Friday (available tomorrow), and Holy Saturday (available Saturday) provided on our church's website: eastportumc.org/holyweek

Our Easter Sunday Service will be available on Sunday morning for you to have a meaningful time of worship. I hope that you will let your family, friends, and neighbors know that we will worship together online. I also hope that you will do what you can to make the day as meaningful as possible, maybe light a candle before the service, eat a delicious meal following the service, call your loved ones, plant some flowers, sing at the top of your lungs.

The Easter morning worship service, scripture readings, bulletin, the materials for children, and the link to give online are all located at eastportumc.org/worship-online

We will also gather on Zoom at 11:00 am on Sunday for a brief coffee hour. The invitation (with the meeting ID and password) will be sent tomorrow (Friday). If you do not receive the invitation tomorrow, be sure to check your spam folders.

Grace and peace,

Pastor Chris
