This Saturday we celebrated the installation and opening of our Little Free Library- a way for our community to exchange books and delight in reading.
The library was built by Bill Schneider, painted by Anne Owen and Paulette Schwallenberg, and sponsored by the Outreach Team and the Homework and Reading Program. Jennifer Smith will serve as our fabulous library steward.
Our hope is that you will drop by and pick out a book to read for as long as you need to, bring it back or pass it along. We’ll be offering a number of children’s and adults books in English and in Spanish, so all our neighbors can enjoy the benefits of this library.
