Virtual Lenten Study

This Lenten series invites us to explore the "polarities" in our lives – the seemingly opposing forces of "faith & works," "rest & growth," or "grief & hope." We often perceive these as either/or scenarios, but the scriptures reveal a deeper complexity. We'll discover that these dichotomies are often false, revealing a spectrum of possibilities where God is present.

This Lent, we encourage you to:

  • Look beyond black and white: Embrace the nuances and complexities of life.

  • Notice the dichotomies: Pay attention to the divisions that shape our lives.

  • Imagine God in the in-between: Explore where God might be meeting us beyond our self-imposed categories.

This journey is for anyone navigating uncertainty, living in a divided world, or seeking a spiritual life that embraces complexity. We're trusting that God shows up in shades of gray, vibrant rainbow hues, and everywhere in between.

Each week there will be a scripture reading, a reflection, and you are invited to add your comment to the post below each week. Chime in. Let us know what you're thinking.
